Great Britain Album Pages
For those wishing to print album pages for Great Britain imperforate issues of 1840 and 1841 I have saved my pages, created in Corel Ventura 8 as HTML. There is a separate page for the plates registered in each year plus a page for the two pence stamps.
Under each stamp frame is the date plate registered and the date the plate retired. Also an estimate of the number of sheets printed for each plate (quantity printed for each position). To print these pages directly from HTML you will have to set "page setup" by deleting all of the "&" codes in the dialog box. The frames around stamps are image files and the quality is not up to standards of direct printing. Printing is much easier from Acrobat files.
The list below is link reference but you can substitute the next number directly into URL. Files are numbered gb1a.htm to gb17a.htm and are case sensitive. To save these files for your own manipulation you will also have to download the image folder here. These files can be easily edited using MS "Front Page". Thanks to Mauro M. we also have available the PDF files linked as shown at right. Same file names but with "pdf" extensions.
Pages were adapted slightly with different style headers by Chip G and saved as a Power Point Presentation for those with MS Office. That PPT file can my downloaded here.
If any of the board participants want high quality pages already printed, I will be please to print directly from Corel Ventura 8 onto Hartmann acid free pages (8.5 by 11 inches) for you (no holes). Cost for the set of 17 pages will be $40 including priority mail shipping (paper costs me 90c each wholesale). Please email me if you wish such a set. I can supply the "Tuck Taylor" sheet protectors (mylar, open 1 long side) at cost $1 each (recommended). This makes a very neat system.
