| I cut and polished the ruby bearings at each end of the escape
    and pallet arbors, and mounted them in plate bezels. I cut, mounted,
    and polished the saphire pallets. It has a high numbered train
    with hardened and tempered pinions. I made all the parts to the
    movement except the weight cable and the glass mercury jar. The
    case to this clock is walnut, with curly walnut panels.   The movement from this clock won First Prize in the NAWCC
    Craft Competition, Single Train Movement catagory, at the national
