We will meet at our hotel in the beautiful colonial town of San Cristobal de las Casas.

*Explore the town, churches, museums, and outdoor markets.

*Trips to indigenous villages noted for their weaving and crafts.

*Day trip to Palenque, and Agua Azul and Misol-ha waterfalls.

* Day trip to Sumerido Canyon with boat ride.

Included: hotel, orientation breakfast, tours, and admission fees.
Not included; airfare and transportation to San Cristobal de las Casas, meals, drinks, and gratuities.

SAMPLE SCHEDULE from previous tour:

Wednesday, November 10 - Arrive in San Cristobal de las Casas.

Thursday, November 11 - Orientation breakfast 8:30am. Walking tour of the town, churches, museums, artisan co-ops, and outdoor markets 10am to 2pm. (2pm to 4pm is siesta time and many shops are closed. This is the tradtional large meal time.)

Friday, November 12 - Cultural tour to the indigenous villages of San Juan Chamula and Zinacatan, noted for their weaving and crafts 9am - 2pm.

Saturday, November 13 - Tour to the archeological site of Palenque and Agua Azul and Miso-ha waterfalls 6:30am - 10pm.

Sunday, November 14 - Retrun to Chamula for market day 9am - 12noon.

Monday, November 15 - Tour and boat ride to Sumidero Canyon and visit the town of Chiapa de Corzo 9am - 4pm.

Tuesday, November 16 - depart.

This tour allows everyone to experience the culture of the area. Many afternoons are free time for you to explore on your own.
