Eric Barela
Eric, Luis and Daniel Barela in front
of their cedar pile in Talpa, NMEric Barela, age 15, is the eldest son of Luis Barela and is the great-grandson of famous New Mexico woodcarver, Patrocinio Barela. Eric continued the family tradition of cedar woodcarving. He is the third-generation to create beautiful carvings using hand tools just like his great-grandfather.
Eric is currently inactive as a carver
