Custom Residence, Parker, Colorado

This residence, located on a hillock in the rolling countryside south and east of Denver, faces spectacular Pikes Peak in the distance. The geometry of this place is of interest...being 2 rectangles interposed upon each other, one of which is rotated 45 degrees. A garage element, detached, stands at the entrance, and creates a passage to the main entry. Because of the geometry of the main structure, the interior spaces created are often triangular or with angled walls. The great room faces Pikes Peak and looks down the south face of the structure to the level below.
