Base Notes:

To convert the fractional part of a number, just multiply the right-part of the number by the base using the following procedure:

e.g. To convert the 14.5110 to a base-12 number:

first convert the left part: 1410 = 1212

then convert the right-part by repeatedly multiplying by base "12" and use the whole part of this product as the next digit in the answer
0.51 * 12 = 6.12   use: .6
0.12 * 12 = 1.44   use: 1
0.44* 12 = 5.28 use: 5 .. to get 0.615 ... etc

the answer is:
14.5110 = 12.61512
