Around the Circle

OJO CALIENTE

"Sundays at Ojo Caliente," a series of free cultural entertainment on the porch of Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs Resort. On Sunday (July 1) at 2:30 p.m., storyteller Joe Hayes will share his special tales; 581-0019.

 

PEÑASCO

One Railroad Circus, an all-women's circus performance, El Puente Theatre and Cultural Center, $2 adults, 50 cents for children, Friday (June 29), 7 p.m., Saturday (June 30), 3 p.m. and 7 p.m., Sunday (July 1), 3 p.m. Event may take place outside the theater, 989-5798.

Art for the Heart Studio, (across from Peñasco Post Office) invites the community to visit the non-profit studio. Create art during a series of summer activities for youth and adults, or come and visit the garden and gallery. During July, arts and crafts will be on sale to raise matching funds for a N.M. Arts grant. Hours are Thursday-Sunday afternoons and by appointment. A mural painting at the ReUse Center at the Chamisal transfer station is planned Thursday (July 5).
