Answers to the most frequently asked questions about this page:
The EZLN Page was put together in the Spring of 1994 in order to provide reliable information on the Zapatista uprising and serve as a mouthpiece for the Zapatistas in cyberspace. The page is always growing, and scores of thousands of people from Mexico and elsewhere have used it as a resource.
Material contained on this page is in English or Spanish (and occassionally German), depending on what is available and accessible; sometime in the future it may be split into two pages entirely. (Incidentally, the page began as a resource primarily for those outside of Mexico, and thus in English; only in 1995 did I realize how much it was being used from within Mexico itself.)
All work done on this page is done in my spare time. While I make a concerted effort to make information available on the site as soon as I recieve it, please understand if there are occassional delays.
¡Ya Basta! has been featured in many newspapers and magazines around the world, including Mexico's La Jornada and Reforma, the UK's Guardian, Mother Jones and Time in the United States, and others. If you come across such an article, please let me know -- I'd appreciate it.
If you maintain a web site and would like to put up a graphical link to this page, here are some suggestions (thank you to whomever created these!):

Comments, broken links, suggestions?
I get lots and lots of mail, and am often unable to respond to it all. This does not mean I don't appreciate hearing from you or don't want to answer your question; it just means I may not have time to respond or in some cases may not even see your mail in a timely fashion. My answering of WWW mail is prioritized 1) Technical questions 2) Other questions 3) Reasoned critique/discourse 4) Praise 5) Criticism. Flames go to /dev/null, so don't bother. Thanks for understanding!
If you'd prefer, you can send me encrypted mail -- here's my PGP Public Key.
