elder's web

I was born in 1931 and Joan was born later. We married in April of 1954 and have six children(two girls) and currently six grandchildren(2 boys).

We're both native New Englanders and haven't strayed far from the nest. Both are retired now and engaged in a variety of pursuits that certainly fill the day. Chief activities are : Academy for Lifelong Learning, SCORE (service corps of retired executives) and recently elected member of the town Planning Board.

Forunately, five of the grandchildren are in close proximity and we get to see them often, sharing birthdays and other important events like the first day of school and loose teeth.

I enjoy the Elders list (mostly as a lurker) and appreciate the opportunity that technology has given us to have friends all over the world.
