A beautiful old Navajo Bracelet circa 1920's/30's. The type of bracelet sold at the Fred Harvey shops along the Santa Fe Railroad. Fine detail and craftsmanship with one natural greenish turquoise stone. Crossed arrows, a symbol for protection, two cactus plants and a rattle snake are stamped on both sides.

Another old wonderful Navajo silver roadrunner pin with a turquiose stone serving as an eye. This one is sandcast and is a little longer. It also dates from the 1930's or 40's. 2 1/2" Long from the tip of its tail to the beak. $135.

A beautiful old Navajo silver bracelet circa 1910's to 1930's. Bracelets like this were sold at the Fred Harvey hotel gift shops along the Santa Fe railroad from the 1890's to the 1960's. Exquiste silver work with a beautiful old turquoise stone. A horse or dog each faces the stone. An arrow and a little human figure is stamped on both sides.

A beautiful old Zuni inlay Pin circa 1920's or 30's. The inlay in this piece, corral, mother of pearl, jet and turquoise is stone to stone and set in very delicate silver work. An exquiste piece of work.

 Elizabeth Bennett

Elizabeth Bennett, a superb Navajo craftsperson, at her kitchen table where she does most of her work. She is related to Tom Burnside, a famous Navajo silversmith of the 1930's.

A pair of silver earrings by Navajo craftsperson, Elizabeth Bennett. We call these a one bead dangle. Hand made, of course, each half of the bead is made from 18 gauge silver, stamped, and then soldered together to make the full bead. (Lots of work) These are 3/4" across and sell for $35.

Eliazabeth carves her own molds out of tufa sandstone so she usually only gets 5 or 6 of these before the mold is no longer usable.

 

The turquoise that Elizabeth uses is the finest natural morenci available.

A beautiful pair of old Navajo hair combs. It is hard to tell but judging from the bezels around the turquoise, I would say that these are from the 1930's or 40's. They are very nice.

Three beautiful old Navajo made crosses circa 1930's and 40's. The largest is sand cast and is 4 " long by 2 3/4" wide. The stone is old coral. $275.

The cross on the right is 1 1/2" by 1" and has a nice old piece of turquoise. No stamping just very simple and elegant$150.

The cross on the left is 1 1/8" by 3/4 and is made of small silver beads put together. An interesting piece with a small turquoise stone. $95.

A beautiful old Navajo bracelet circa 1920's or 1930's. Two stamped arrows grace each side of this bracelet with three deep blue rectangular turquoise stones. Also on each side of this bracelet is a stamped thunderbird and a little star burst. $275.
