A small known fact is that hemp paper is what the Gutenburg Bible is printed on. A small number of people (our Congress) was misled by a fanatic (a retired Colonel) (more of him later) and have since then made this most useful and excellent product unavailable - except in times of war, the major exception to the outlawing of hemp being the Second World War when people and industries were extolled to grow hemp for the very necessary products needed for that enterprise: rope being the one most commonly known, but also clothing, paper, fuel, and medicinal uses.
